Yes, the app is completely free to download. Basic features including the E-Library, Panchang, Festival Calendar, Tirth Yatra directory, Horoscope readings, and Vedon Ke Vichar are all free. Paid services include Pandit booking for pujas, one-on-one consultations, and certain premium astrology reports. All pricing is displayed transparently before you confirm any booking — no hidden charges.
Vaidik Sanskar supports multiple languages including English, Hindi, and Sanskrit. The app interface, content, and scriptures in the E-Library are available in multiple Indian languages, making it accessible to devotees across the country. Language preferences can be set from the app settings.
Yes. Vaidik Sanskar is available on both Android (Google Play Store) and iOS (Apple App Store). You can also download the Android APK directly from our website. The app is regularly updated on both platforms to bring you the latest features and improvements.

If you're a Pandit looking to register and offer services, select the "Pandit" role during signup — your profile will go through a verification process before going live.

You will receive instant confirmation in the app. All booking details and Pandit contact information are available in the "My Bookings" section.
Yes. Every Pandit on Vaidik Sanskar goes through a thorough verification process before their profile is made public. We verify their educational qualifications in Vedic studies, their experience and area of specialization, identity documents, and credentials. Only Pandits who meet our quality standards are onboarded, ensuring you always receive authentic and knowledgeable spiritual service.
You can book Pandits for a wide range of rituals and ceremonies, including:

Yes, you can cancel or request to reschedule a booking from the "My Bookings" section in the app. Please refer to our Return & Cancellation Policy for the applicable timeframes and refund conditions. Cancellations made well in advance are generally eligible for a full refund, while last-minute cancellations may incur a nominal fee as per the policy.
Pricing is fully transparent and shown upfront before you confirm any booking. Rates vary depending on the type of puja, its duration, and the Pandit's experience. There are no hidden charges. The price you see at the time of booking is the final amount. Payment is collected securely through the app.
Yes. After the puja is marked as completed, you will be prompted to leave a star rating and written review for your Pandit. Reviews help the community make better informed decisions and help Pandits improve their services. Your feedback is greatly valued.

Go to the Kundli section in the app, enter your date of birth, exact time of birth, and birth location (city/coordinates). The app calculates your detailed birth chart including all planetary positions (Sun, Moon, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus, Saturn, Rahu, Ketu), house placements, and astrological insights based on classical Vedic astrology principles.
Our Panchang is location-based and computed using precise astronomical calculations. It provides Tithi, Nakshatra, Yoga, Karana, Rahu Kalam, Shubh Muhurat, Sunrise and Sunset times, and much more — all accurate for your specific location and date. Simply allow location access or search for your city to get the most relevant Panchang data.
Lagna Muhurat refers to auspicious time windows identified by Vedic astrology for important life events — such as marriage, housewarming (Griha Pravesh), starting a business, travel, buying a vehicle, or any significant undertaking. In the Muhurat section of the app, you can browse available Muhurats by month and event type, each with the date, time window, and astrological basis explained clearly.
Yes. Tap on any of the 12 Vedic zodiac signs (Mesh, Vrishabh, Mithun, Kark, Simha, Kanya, Tula, Vrishchik, Dhanu, Makar, Kumbh, Meen) to view that sign's reading. You can navigate between dates — past, present, and upcoming — using the date selector at the top of the Horoscope screen.
The Sanatan Calendar is a full Hindu Panchang calendar view that displays the entire month with Tithi, Paksha (Shukla/Krishna), Masa (Hindu month), and important festivals and events marked on each day. It helps you plan your month around sacred dates, fasts (Ekadashi, Amavasya, Purnima), and Hindu festivals — all in one clean, easy-to-read calendar grid.

Vedon Ke Vichar is a daily Vedic wisdom feature on the home screen. Think of it as your daily dose of ancient wisdom, explained in simple language.
Yes. Most texts are available in Sanskrit (original), Hindi translation, and English translation. The availability of specific language editions depends on the title. We are continuously expanding our multi-language collection to serve devotees from all backgrounds.
Pandit Consultation
5 questionsThe consultation feature lets you book private one-on-one sessions with verified Pandits and astrologers via audio or video call — directly within the app. Browse Pandit profiles, review their expertise and past ratings, select an available time slot, confirm the booking, and connect at the scheduled time. All calls happen securely inside the Vaidik Sanskar app.
Yes. You can request a reschedule from the "My Consultations" section in the app. The Pandit will be notified and can accept or suggest an alternate time. Cancellations are also possible; please refer to the Return Policy for applicable refund terms based on how far in advance the cancellation is made.
Pandits on the platform specialize in a wide range of topics including:
- Vedic astrology — Kundli reading, planetary doshas, remedies
- Marriage compatibility (Kundli Milan)

All your past, ongoing, and upcoming consultation sessions are accessible from the "My Consultations" section under your profile. You can view session details, Pandit information, date and duration, and booking status. Ongoing sessions are also shown via an on-screen notification strip on the home screen.
Yes. The Chat feature allows you to send direct text messages to verified Pandits and scholars for quick queries or general guidance without needing to book a formal session. This is great for short questions about rituals, festival significance, scripture interpretations, or simple spiritual queries.
Live Events & Streaming
4 questionsA wide variety of religious events are streamed live on Vaidik Sanskar, including Yagnas, Havans, Abhishekams, Bhagwat Kathas, Ram Kathas, Satsangs, Pravachans (discourses) by scholars, Puja ceremonies on special festival days, and more. Both Pandits on the platform and recognized religious organizations can host live events.
In the Live Events section, filter for "Upcoming" events and tap on any event to open its detail page. From there, you can set a reminder and the app will notify you before the event begins so you never miss it. Make sure notifications are enabled for Vaidik Sanskar in your phone's settings.
Yes. Ended events are archived and available for replay. Simply filter for "Ended" in the Live Events section to see past recordings. This is useful if you missed an event or want to watch a discourse again for deeper study.
Yes. During a live stream you can send floating reactions (like "Jai Shri Ram", folded hands, etc.) that appear on screen for all viewers — creating a sense of collective devotion even from a distance. This feature lets you participate spiritually alongside thousands of other devotees watching the same event.
Tirth Yatra — Pilgrimage Sites

Each listing provides detailed information about the site — its spiritual significance, location, historical context, and the deities or traditions associated with it. It helps devotees discover, learn about, and plan visits to India's most holy destinations.
The directory covers six main categories of sacred sites:
- Temple — ancient and significant temples across India
- River — holy rivers like Ganga, Yamuna, Godavari, Saraswati
- Mountain — sacred peaks and hills including Kailash, Govardhan, Vindhya
- Ashram — revered ashrams and spiritual centers
- Sacred Grove — Devvans and naturally protected sacred forests

Yes. The Tirth Yatra screen includes a search bar and category filter. You can type the name of a temple, river, mountain, or city to find relevant listings. You can also filter by category (Temple, River, Mountain, etc.) to browse sites by type. New sites are regularly added to expand the directory.
Tirth Yatra is a place-based feature — it helps you discover and learn about sacred geographical locations across India. The Festival Calendar is a time-based feature — it shows you upcoming Hindu festivals, fasts, and sacred dates throughout the year. Both complement each other: knowing that Navratri is approaching (Calendar) might inspire you to plan a visit to a Devi temple (Tirth Yatra).

All personal information is encrypted using industry-standard protocols, stored on secure servers, and never shared with third parties without your explicit consent. Go to your Profile, tap on "Settings", and select "Change Password". You will need to enter your current password and then set a new one. If you've forgotten your password, use the "Forgot Password" option on the login screen — a reset link or OTP will be sent to your registered email or mobile number.
Tap on your profile picture or the Profile tab in the bottom navigation. Select "Edit Profile" to update your name, profile photo, contact number, date of birth, and other details. Pandits can additionally update their specializations, bio, service areas, and rates from the "Edit Pandit Profile" section.
You can permanently delete your account from Profile → Settings → Delete Account. Please note that account deletion is irreversible — all your data, bookings history, and downloaded content will be permanently removed. If you have pending bookings or consultations, please complete or cancel them before deleting your account. Alternatively, contact our support team if you need assistance.
